Allostatrix
Allostatrix is a consultancy named for allostasis, the predictive, proactive processes the body uses to maintain stability and adapt to new stresses and input. Your heart rate, your hormones, your metabolism, all of them are constantly recalibrating to keep you moving through an unpredictable world. (The “-trix” is a nod to the Latin feminine agent form, a reminder that design is never neutral).
Allostasis tells us:
Build systems that adapt, anticipate, and recalibrate.
Treat friction and resistance as design data, not failure.
Plan for resiliency, not stasis.
Where homeostasis clings to a narrow set point, allostasis creates balance by embracing dynamism and iterating across interlocking systems. I approach problem-solving the same way. Problems rarely live in isolation, every challenge touches more than one constraint — people, technology, budgets, culture, timelines — and at Allostatrix, you and I work together to navigate those shifting conditions, finding balance that works, using resilience to turn friction into flow.

Pressure-tested a theoretical feature with a high-level hardware engineer, from paper to pixel, surfacing failure points and strengthening the design concept, before it went in front of leadership. (This feature is now embedded in one of the world's most widely used mobile ecosystems.)

Assisted a lead technical designer in solving complex issues while creating, exploring, and testing real-world interactions for AR experiences that leveraged globally recognized entertainment IP into mixed-reality interactive spatial content for key IP stakeholders, industry events, (SIGGRAPH, and others), and flagship brand activations.
