Ideator and one of the two original founders of the So Many Of Us collective, a social-justice group and website that collected and shared personal accounts of people targeted for grooming and sexual exploitation by a globally recognized writer. The website went live on July 13th, 2020 and was covered by The Guardian, Gizmodo, IGN, Comics Beat, Bleeding Cool, The Hollywood Reporter, Screenrant, Cracked, and dozens more.

Started officially teaching workshops.
Vancouver Hack Space (VHS) Keyholder. Established in August 2008, the VHS is one of the oldest makerspaces in North America (old enough to predate the term makerspace).
Communicatrix launched.
Worked my first NorWesCon.
The Heart Of The World: pioneering crowd-funding project to save a historic theatre in Vancouver from demolition. It raised over $250,000 in under 4 months, gathered 150+ volunteers, and was covered by the CBC, CBC Radio, Vancouver Jazz, The Globe & Mail, and the Georgia Straight. Though the project was cut short, the plans were used by colleagues at The Cultch and the venue was purchased, fully restored, and now operates as The York Theatre. (The knowledge and experience from this project later helped with the successful purchase and launch of The Rio Theatre).
2005
Remember flashmobs? Began the West Coast Zombie Walk, which spread directly from my work in Vancouver and Seattle to at least 15 more cities. I eventually gathered staff and we kept it going every September until at least 2016, involved thousands of walkers, and (eventually) collected significant donations for the Vancouver Food Bank.
